Wright Named Grand Marshall for African-American Day Parade

September 19, 2023 –  Director of Strategic Planning in the Government Relations practice, Keith L.T. Wright was named Grand Marshall of the 2023 African-American Parade in Manhattan.  Founded in 1968 by two organizations, the Afro-American Day and the United Federation of Black Community Organizations the first parade took place in New York City on September 21, 1969.

Joining Keith at the event were New York City Mayor Eric Adams, U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer, newly-elected City Councilman, Yusef Salaam, hip-hop artist Doug E. Fresh and Ingrid Lewis-Martin seen in the picture collage below.  Click on the image to view a larger file size.
