February 20, 2024 – Keith L.T. Wright, Director of Strategic Planning was awarded the Percy Sutton Award from the New York State Association of Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic & Asian Legislators, Inc. (NYSABPRHAL) on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at their annual conference held in Albany, NY.

Keith spent over 23 years in the NYS Assembly representing his hometown district of Harlem, NY, where he grew up and lived alongside the legendary civil rights leader, Percy Sutton.  Since 2009, Keith has served as the New York County Democratic Committee Leader.

The award was the highlight of the weekend-long conference, taking place at a gala dinner on the last night. The ballroom was packed with NYSABPRHAL from across the state.
