August 13, 2026 — Sean Crowley, Partner and Interim Chair of the firm’s New York City Government Relations practice, moderated a panel discussion at City & State Magazine’s Education in New York Summit 2026.

The panel, “Supporting the Whole Student,” brought together distinguished speakers from private industry, the public sector, and the nonprofit community to examine New York’s collaborative strategies for strengthening student well-being, supporting families, and building pathways to lifelong success.

Discussion topics included student support inside and outside the classroom, mental health and disability services, early childhood and family support, youth development, after-school and summer learning programs, workforce readiness, and basic needs such as housing and food security. Panelists highlighted how schools are partnering with nonprofits, public agencies, health providers, and community organizations to address the broader factors that shape student outcomes.

The full-day summit offered attendees a forum for meaningful dialogue on critical issues facing New York’s education system. Held at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in downtown Manhattan, the event drew strong attendance from across the sector.
