Weingartner Attends HIA Annual Legislative Meeting
January 12, 2024 – Nicole L. Weingartner, Director of State Government Affairs attended the Hauppauge Industrial Association’s 46th Annual Legislative Meeting which took place at the Radisson Hotel on Motor Parkway in Hauppauge, Long Island, NY.
The annual program brings together top elected officials from Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island to meet with and discuss upcoming pressing issues in County and State legislatures for the year ahead.
In addition to hundreds of entrepreneurs, business owners, corporate, banking and real estate executives, there was also a large number of nonprofit, healthcare, and education leaders in attendance.
Some of the government officials included Antonio Delgado (NYS Lt. Gov.), Bruce Blakeman (Nassau County Executive), Ed Romaine (Suffolk County Executive), Ed Wehrheim (Town of Smithtown Supervisor), and Angie Carpenter (Town of Islip Supervisor).
