June 24, 2026 (Brownsville, Brooklyn) – It was a big day for 2-year-olds at SCO Family of Service’s FirstStepNYC, as they celebrated completing 2K; and moving on to 3K!

Remarks were delivered by NYS Senator Persaud’s Constituent Liaison ,Karen Davis; and the class received certificates of recognition from the office of NYS Assembly Member Latrice Walker. DHC was represented by Senior Director for Government Relations, Melissa Chapman-Samad.

FirstStepNYC, is a state-of-the-art early education center providing high-quality early education services and parenting support to pregnant women and families with children ages six weeks to five years old. The center is a welcoming and engaging space co-located with PS/IS 41, a K-8 elementary and middle school.
