Rajpersaud Named to City & State's Staten Island Power 100

December 28, 2024 – Who’s Who in Richmond County’s Political Scene? Once again Bianca Rajpersaud, Associate Director of Government Relations was named to City & State Magazine’s Staten Island Power 100 list.

Staten Island, New York City’s smallest borough, has consistently made its presence felt in the city’s political landscape.

Known for its distinct identity and community-driven approach, Staten Islanders ensure their voices are heard loud and clear, refusing to be overshadowed by the larger boroughs.

One such unifying issue is the recently revived congestion pricing program. Leaders from both parties have been quick to come together to address bread-and-butter concerns affecting the borough, showcasing bipartisan effort.

In a city known for political divides, Staten Island remains a unique example of how community interests can bridge national political gaps, making it a fascinating area to watch in New York’s ever-evolving political arena.
