June 23, 2020 – DHC’s Co-Managing Partner Jeffrey Citron shared his thoughts on recent commercial lease negotiations amid the COVID-19 pandemic with MarketWatch, Mr. Citron noted that in most situations, landlords and tenants should try to reach a mutually agreeable compromise before litigation, although sometimes litigation can serve as a prelude to negotiation. With the “hail storm” of the COVID-19 pandemic, he added, companies have good reason to work collaboratively.
