DHC's Citron on Commercial Leases Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

June 23, 2020 – Co-Managing Partner Jeffrey Citron, Chair of the Real Estate Law practice, recently shared his thoughts on recent commercial lease negotiations amid the COVID-19 pandemic with MarketWatch.

Mr. Citron noted that in most situations, landlords and tenants should try to reach a mutually agreeable compromise before litigation, although sometimes litigation can serve as a prelude to negotiation.

With the “hail storm” of the COVID-19 pandemic, he added, companies have good reason to work collaboratively.
