February 25, 2021 – DHC’s Government Relations group worked closely with the office of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New England Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (NEAAPA) to come up with a plan for safely reopening amusement parks and attractions across New York State, some of which have been closed since the coronavirus pandemic began. The decision was lauded in a recent editorial in the New York Daily News, which hailed the reopening as offering “a glimmer of levity” for summer 2021.
