CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: Council Member Rita Joseph, chair of the higher education committee in city council was keynote speaker at Touro Community Breakfast

February 14, 2026 – Dr Kadish, president of Touro University gave a glowing introduction to Council Member Joseph. Council Member Joseph spoke about how she has walked the walk as an educator and continues to use that experience to drive improvements in education.

  • The Touro Graduate School of Education (GSE) Community Breakfast and Faculty Retreats bring together the full-time faculty and staff in person once a semester to set goals and priorities and evaluate our impact on teacher preparation in NYC and the State. Our goal is to serve the needs of K-12 students and their families and communities by focusing on excellent programs that help create and sustain innovative pathways for workforce development and retention.
