March 16, 2026 (New York, NY) – Congressman Dan Goldman toured the Old Merchants Museum with DHC partner Arthur Goldstein to view firsthand the Underground Railroad discovery featuring a hidden shaft under built in draws.
Congressman Goldman and his team have been working with other elected officials, featured recently in DHC news, to protect and save the museum which is on already recognized as a landmark on every level of government.
When you add this generational discovery, it is easy to understand the efforts to block construction of a 9 story office building. The elected officials have called on the Mayor to purchase the development site to preserve history forevermore.
