September 18, 2023 – Partner and Chair of the New York State Government Relations practice, Steve Malito, was among leaders recognizing hero union electrician Pooran Mohabir, who rescued an elderly victim of a subway attack while he was on duty doing modernization of the 68^th Street/Hunter College MTA subway station.

NYS Senator Joseph Addabbo Jr. gathered with leaders of United Electrical Workers of America Local 363, IUJAT, and the Building Industry Electrical Contractors Association to present Mr. Mohabir with an award from the NYS Senate.

Mr. Mohabir is a member of Local 363, a long-standing client of DHC.
