DHC’s Arthur Goldstein, Partner and Chair of the New York City Government Relations practice, was proud to support Hunts Point Produce Market’s annual “Week of Giving” in the Bronx, a citywide effort where market merchants generously donate hundreds of bags of fresh produce to communities across New York.

As part of this year’s initiative, the Bronx hosted the distribution of 500 bags of produce across two community sites. Council Member Rafael Salamanca, Jr. hosted a distribution event in his district, bringing fresh fruits and vegetables directly to local residents, while Council Member Amanda Farías joined forces with Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson to lead a second event at a Bronx Boys & Girls Club, ensuring even more families had access to healthy produce this holiday season.

Each year, Hunts Point Produce Market merchants come together to provide thoughtfully curated bags of fruits and vegetables—assembled and distributed by volunteers as a gesture of gratitude, care, and community support throughout the Thanksgiving season.
