February 2, 2026 – Melissa Chapman-Samad, Associate Director of Government Relations was recognized by City & State Magazine in their 2026 Black Trailblazers list.

City & State recognizes the profound impact Black leaders have across New York’s political, policy, and industry landscapes. From the minority leader of the U.S. House of Representatives to the state’s deputy mayor, legislative majority leaders, and attorney general, Black elected officials occupy some of the most influential roles in the state. Their leadership reflects generations of perseverance and hard-won progress in the ongoing pursuit of equity and justice.
