Brandt Featured in New York Post Article on Co-op Disability Accommodations Lawsuit

May 9, 2023 – Ian J. Brandt, Partner in Davidoff Hutcher & Citron’s Commercial Litigation, Co-op & Condominium Law and Real Estate Law practices was featured in the New York Post article “NYC Woman Faces Co-op Eviction After Disability Request Becomes Years-long Legal Battle”.

What started as a request for a washing machine to accommodate a disability and sensitivity to laundry smells has exploded into a bitter three-year battle over disability accommodations at a one-bedroom co-op in Brooklyn.

Co-op and condominium attorney and litigator, Ian Brandt was asked to provide some legal insights to this ongoing lawsuit.  Ian has practiced in this space for over 20 years representing both tenants and boards of co-ops and condominiums in both transactional and litigation matters.
