James “Jake” Roach is a registered lobbyist and the Associate Director for Federal Government Affairs in Davidoff Hutcher & Citron’s Washington, D.C. office. In this capacity, he focuses on planning and implementing lobbying efforts for clients, conducts research, and composes briefings, statements, and legislative agendas. Jake is skilled in developing policy positions and legislative strategies.
Jake has experience in the campaign world, having worked on a successful congressional campaign in a highly contended battleground district of southern Florida. This experience allowed him an in-depth look at organizing and ground level political strategy.
Before joining DHC, Jake interned in the federal government relations office at Feeding America, a non-profit focused on hunger relief policy.
He is a graduate of George Washington University, where he earned a B.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in International Politics.
