Benefits to Clients
Prior to Joining the Firm
Before joining the firm, Alicia spent nearly five years at a boutique trusts and estates law firm in New York City, where she advised high-net-worth individuals and families on estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and cross-border succession matters. During that time, she worked closely with the firm’s managing partner to develop individualized planning solutions designed to address clients’ personal, financial, and family objectives.
In addition to her trusts and estates practice, Alicia gained experience in corporate law, real estate transactions, and tax compliance matters, broadening her understanding of the legal, business, and financial considerations relevant to high-net-worth individuals and families.
Prior to practicing law in New York, Alicia worked at Deloitte in Mexico as a tax controversy attorney. In that role, she advised corporate clients in disputes involving Mexican income tax and value-added tax (VAT), including administrative proceedings and litigation before Mexican tax authorities.
