December 12, 2022 – Nicole L. Weingartner, Director of State Government Affairs in our Government Relations practice was appointed to the U.S. Government Relations Committee for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP Global).

The committee helps guide AFP advocacy efforts in the U.S. for public policies that encourage giving and volunteering and also enhance the capacity of nonprofits to function efficiently.

The committee also monitors legislation related to fundraising and alerts AFP’s grassroots network when there is a need for action, educating fundraisers, policy makers and the public about issues related to fundraising and philanthropy.
