William Walzer Speaks to Bankrate about Purchasing a Home

July 6, 2020 – Partner William Walzer of DHC’s Real Estate practice group spoke to Bankrate about the advantages and disadvantages of purchasing a home without a real estate agent. Walzer explained that homeowners who don’t use an agent typically save about 3% of the selling price. But agents are a very useful resource in recommending the listing price, in negotiating the terms of a deal, and in preparing the mortgage application and gathering other required paperwork.
