Mack spoke to The Real Deal about New York City’s ever-changing outdoor dining regulations and the effect they have on restaurant operators, noting that there is “a lot of consternation” in the industry. Mack also provided expert commentary to The Wall Street Journal on the types of agreements landlords and retail tenants can reach to keep businesses afloat through the pandemic. The pacts typically create an agreement that both sides don’t really like, he said, “Everyone is sharing the pain.”
