Rabij Spoke in DC on the State of Energy Industry in Ukraine

June 23, 2023 – Corporate & Securities Law practice Partner, Myron B. Rabij recently spoke in the nation’s capitol at The University Club on the state of the energy industry in Ukraine.

Myron was part of the Ukraine Energy Sector Panel at the conference hosted by CUSUR – the Center for U.S.-Ukrainian Relations.  His topic was “Energy Sector Report Card” where he discussed the state of Ukraine’s energy sector before the war, since the war and what post-war may look like.

His topics included:

  • Reconstruction – Increasing Supply, Capacity and Financing
  • Integration with Europe
  • Increasing role of the State
  • Private Sphere and Oligarchs
  • Private Investment
  • Aging Nuclear Power Plants
  • Reform – Addressing Pre-War Problems

 

Before the current conflict, Myron spent 23 years in Kyiv as a corporate attorney representing U.S., Canadian, European and other multinational energy clients in upstream oil & gas, LNG and solar RES, he is fluent in Ukrainian and Russian.
