October 13, 2020 – Law360 reported that Hugo Boss filed a lawsuit in New York State Court seeking to rescind the retailer’s $8.3 million per year lease at The Shops at Columbus Circle due in part to the fact that the mall was entirely shuttered for six months as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, rendering its large rent payments no longer justified. Hugo Boss is represented by DHC Commercial Litigation Partner William Mack.
