August 27, 2019 – Adam Citron, attorney and Partner in our Divorce & Family Law practice provided insights to Newsweek on the celebrities indicted in the college admissions scandal.

Citron pointed out that although parents make substantial donations to colleges with the hope their children are looked upon more favorably as applicants, generally only payments that are explicitly given to secure a specific benefit – such as college admission – are considered bribes and a violation of federal law.
