Fink Joins NYS Assembly Leaders in Albany-Defending Satire
June 1, 2024 – You may remember that back during March Madness ’24, ESPN’s Rebecca Lobo took a shot at “how little there is to do in Albany, NY” during the networks’ coverage of one of the basketball games. That comment held center stage at the 122nd Annual Legislative Correspondents Association gala when Assembly Minority Leader, Will Barclay delivered rebuttal remarks that focused on what there is to do in Albany, via a 15-minute video satirizing state politics.
In a flashback role, Zack Fink, Director of External Affairs in the Government Relations practice served once more as the host, reprising his role, covering the capitol during his years at Spectrum’s NY1 News.
Joining Zack Fink in the satire was former Democratic Assemblyman Richard N. Gottfried; former Gov. George E. Pataki; Assembly Speaker Carl E. Heastie; Assembly Majority Leader Crystal D. Peoples-Stokes; Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan; state GOP Chairman Ed Cox; former U.S. Rep. John Faso; among many others.
