Craig M. Price is a Senior Counsel attorney in the Corporate & Securities Law, Bankruptcy Law and Real Estate Law group in the firm’s New York City office.
In his practice, Craig will be advising and counseling funds investing in real estate with regards to first and subordinated mortgage loans, bridge loans, mezzanine financing, junior participation, and preferred equity investments involving multifamily, retail and industrial properties.
Prior to joining the firm, Craig practiced bankruptcy law at several leading New York-based law firms where he represented both debtors and creditors, negotiating substantial secured and unsecured financings on behalf of chapter 11 debtors and distressed investors.
As a former bankruptcy lawyer, Craig possesses a wide-ranging understanding of different types of financings in all types of industries, methods to protect investors and lenders’ value from possible future financial difficulties, and has litigated complex issues regarding the meanings of specific contract terms to achieve favorable results for his clients.
