On Monday, October 4th, our Federal Government Affairs team in Washington, D.C. organized a briefing for NYC & Company’s Government Affairs Committee featuring Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus, Congressman Hakeem Jeffries.
Chairman Jeffries discussed the state of negotiations in Washington and took questions from the group on the implications for the travel and tourism industry.
Jonathan McCollum and Jake Roach, of our Government Relations office in DC, briefed the committee on the federal budget, the debt limit, the stalled infrastructure bill, and the ongoing reconciliation negotiations.
